The health and safety of our patients is our highest priority, which is why we refer our patients to a Cone Beam imaging center. Unlike traditional x-ray systems, the Cone Beam system produces a very low dose of radiation, thus reducing unnecessary exposure.  

The Cone Beam is used in many dental procedures.  It can be used to derive a treatment plan for dental implants, helping to determine the best size and placement of the implant.  From that information we can fabricate a Surgiguide that when placed in the mouth can guide the preparation of the implant site and the placement of the implant precisely as planned in the software.  Such accuracy leads to a less invasive procedure with improved healing and less discomfort.  CBCT technology can also be used to diagnose periodontal and periapical disease, as well as any bone diseases.  Cone Beams give us a clear view of facial nerves and bone structure, which allows us to plan a customized procedure to protect your nerve endings.
